When a woodworker and his wife were refinishing a pine board from a tree they had cut down on their property, they were pleasantly surprised to find wood knots that resembled a Great Horned owl. This was special to them, because they had nesting owls on their property every year and are quite fond of them. Therefore, they asked the engraving experts at Engraved Connections to engrave “Life’s a Hoot” on the board.
